BLS_Series High Current

BLS-13000-1E and BLS-18000-1 LED controllers are designed for driving Mightex Type-H Super High Power LED Sources. The controllers have two operation modes:

Manual Mode: the output current can be controlled by manually turning the knobs; or
Trigger Mode: the output current can be controlled via an external analog input signal between 0-5V.

The control mode is selected with a slide switch on the front panel, and the factory default is “Manual” mode. BLS-13000-1E and BLS-18000-1 have a maximum current setting of 13,000mA and 18,000mA, respectively.

When the controller is set to “Trigger” mode, the output current is fully controlled by the input analog signal (0-5V).

BLS-Series High Speed

BLS-1000-2 and BLS-3000-2 LED controllers are designed for driving LED sources. The controllers have two operation modes:

Manual Mode: the output current can be controlled by manually turning the knobs; or
Trigger Mode: the output current can be controlled via an external analogue input signal between 0-5V.

The control mode is selected with a slide switch on the front panel, and the factory default is “Manual” mode. BLS-1000-2 and BLS-3000-2 provide Maximum Current Selection DIP switches on the rear panel, which allow the user to set the maximum output current of the channel to 500/750/1,000mA for BLS-1000-2, and 1,000/2,000/3,000mA for BLS-3000-2, respectively. The factory default is set to 500mA for BLS-1000-2 and 1,000mA for BLS-3000-2, respectively.

SLA-Series / SLB-Series

SLA-series two-channel universal LED drivers are designed to drive a broad range of LED light sources. These LED drivers have two control modes:

  • Manual Knob Control Mode: the current output of each channel can be adjusted manually

  • Analog Input Control Mode: the current output of each channel can be controlled via 0~5V analogue input.

The control mode is set via a DIP switch, and the factory default setting is “Manual Knob Control Mode”. The drivers also have a Maximum Current Setting DIP Switch, which allows user to set the maximum current to different levels, to prevent LED damage due to overdriving. The factory default setting is 30mA for SLA-0100-2, and 350mA for both SLA-1000-2 and SLA-1200-2. When the Maximum Current Setting DIP Switch is set at a smaller value (e.g.350mA), the LED driver has a finer resolution for the output current.

Front and rear panels:

The front and rear panel has a power switch and a power indicator. Each channel has its own slide switch (for selecting Manual or Trigger mode) and a turning knob (for adjusting output current).

The Rear Panel has a DC input plug. LED+ and LED- connectors for LED power. A BNC connector for external trigger/analogue voltage signal. 12V DC output (2-pin Aero connector) for the LED cooling fan.

Front and rear panels:

The front and rear panel has a power switch and a power indicator. Each channel has its own slide switch (for selecting Manual or Trigger mode) and a turning knob (for adjusting output current).

 

The Rear Panel has a DC input plug. Each channel has a BNC connector for external trigger/analogue voltage signal, a two-pin LED aero connector. For BLS-1000-2 and BLS-3000-2 only, each channel has a pair of DIP switches to set maximum current.

1. Maximum Output Voltage is 3V less than the Power Supply Input Voltage, i.e. Vmax = Vdc – 3V. For instance, with a Power Supply Input Voltage of Vdc= 24V, the Maximum Output Voltage Vmax would be (Vdc- 3V) = 21V; and
2. If the channel output voltage is Vd and the output current is Id, they must simultaneously satisfy: (1) Vd <= Vmax ; (2) Id <= Imax; and (3) Vd * Id <= Pmax.
3. With both switches flipped on top, Imax is 1,200mA for SLA-1200-2, 1,000mA for SLA-1000-2 and 100mA for SLA-0100-2. With both switches flipped bottom, Imax is 30mA for SLA-0100-2, and 350mA for both SLA-1200-2 and SLA-1000-2. With one switch flipped on top and the other at bottom Imax is 50mA for SLA-0100-2, 500mA for SLA-1000-2 and 750mA for SLA-1200-2.
