MCT12 Dewar-Cooled Photodiode (2-12µm)

The MCT12 cryogenically cooled mercury cadmium telluride takes high responsivity into the LWIR. Housing a 2x2mm active area MCT photodiode (2-12µm), the DH_MCT12 is operated in the photoconductive mode with the dedicated 475 ultra-low noise pre-amplifier module. Using an optically chopped input, the signal generated by this detector is best measured by the 496 DSP lock-in amplifier. Operation in the cryogenic mode offers ultimate sensitivity and low noise performance.

The INSB cryogenically cooled indium antimonide detector offers the best performance to 5.5µm. Housing a 3mm active area indium antimonide photodiode (1-5.5µm), the DH_INSB is operated in the photovoltaic mode. Using an optically chopped input, the signal generated by this detector is best measured in using the 477 trans-impedance pre-amplifiers followed by the 496 DSP lock-in amplifier.

PBSE_TE Cooled Photodiode (1-5µm)

The PBSE_TE cooled lead selenide photodiode offers wide spectral responsivity to 5µm and the convenience of thermo-electric cooling. Housing a 3x3mm active area lead selenide photodiode, the dh_pbse_te IS Operated in the photoconducive mode with the 215 high voltage supply whilst temperature control isensured by the CPS1M.

Using an opticallychopped input, the signal generated by this detector is best measured in using the 477 trans-impedance pre-amplifiers followed by the 496 DSP lock-in amplifier.

The DH_PBS_TE cooled lead sulphide photodiode offers high responsivity to 3µm and the convenience of thermo-electric cooling. Housing a 3x3mm active area lead sulphide photodiode, the DH_PBS_TE is operated in the photoconductive mode with the 215-voltage supply whilst temperature control is ensured by the CPS1M. 

Using an optically chopped input, the signal generated by this detector is best measured in using the 477 trans-impedance pre-amplifiers followed by the 496 DSP lock-in amplifier.

DH_PY Pyroelectric Detector (1-30µm)

The PY DLATGS pyroelectric detector offers an exceptionally wide responsivity range, reaching parts of the infrared for which no photon detectors are available.

Housing a 2x2mm active area pyroelectric detector fitted with a KRS5 window (1-30µm), the PY includes an integrated impedance matching amplifier. The amplifier is powered by the DH_PY_PSU module. The signal generated is best measured in using the 496 DSP lock-in amplifier.
