ZnGeP2(Zinc Germanium Phosphide) is a non-linear crystal that has large non-linear coefficient(75pm/V), wide infrared transparency range, high thermal conductivity and high laser damage threshold.


It is one of the best frequency conversion material suited for high power laser and tunable infrared laser generation due to its properties of 2th-4th harmonic generation of Co2 laser, OPG(Optical Parametric Generation) for 2.0um wavelength, OPO(Optical Parametric Oscillation and producing coherent radiation from 70um-1000um.


It allows the material to have applications in many fields, such as infrared counter measure, chemical monitoring, medical apparatus and remote sensing.
