Nd:YAG(掺钕钇铝石榴石化学式为 Y3Al5O12)是一种适用于高功率和 Q 开关激光器的晶体,因其良好的荧光寿命、热导率和晶体强度而备受青睐。它是一种四级增益介质,增益带宽较窄,因而增益效率高,阈值泵浦功率低。在四级增益介质中,最常见的发射波长为 1064 纳米。其次常见的则是通过 Q 开关产生的 532 纳米波长,常用于皮肤科治疗。

 

Nd:YAG 可以实现高达四次谐波的产生。虽然增加钕的掺杂浓度可以缩短泵浦吸收长度,但掺杂过量会因上转换过程而缩短上能态寿命。
