Dear SIMTRUM Insider,
We are excited to introduce two new blockbuster products, Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope - SIMSCOP P series & Laser Line Scan Confocal Microscope - SIMSCOP L Series. This is the latest scientific and technological achievement of our R&D Center in Guangzhou. We are committed to bringing you the most advanced and efficient photonics solutions, enabling you to achieve breakthroughs in your field of research.
The Laser scanning confocal microscope uses a laser light source to acquire images through single-point scanning, providing an ultra-clear microscopic observation experience with high resolution and high contrast. Since it receives light only at the focal point, background noise around the sample is hugely reduced. It can also generate a 3D image of the sample by scanning at different depth planes. This microscope provides real-time, sharp, high-contrast images regardless of the environment and lighting conditions. More importantly, it has minimal damage to samples and is suitable for precisely observing living or sensitive samples. And our Laser Scanning Confocal Microscope - SIMSCOP P series achieves an outstanding balance between function, cost and flexibility.
| Key Advantage ● Professional software UI with great featuress for imaging analysis ● Single or Multi laser Channel, laser power control accuracy up to 0.01% ● Silicon PMT detector enabling higher photon dynamic range and less noise ● Support high-speed scanning: 30fpx@512x512Pixels (resonant scanner) ● Compact Modular design, able to adapt to most microscope system ● Multiple upgrade options for future capability expansion with low cost Click Here for more info

The working principle of the laser line scanning confocal microscope is similar to that of the laser scanning confocal microscope, which uses laser light to scan and acquire images. But the difference is that laser line scanning confocal microscopes scan an entire line at once, not just a spot. This allows it to scan the entire sample faster, increasing the speed of image acquisition.
Our Laser Line Scan Confocal Microscope - SIMSCOP L Series is a novel way to microscope observation that achieves deeper penetration depth based on a confocal microscope. Using the combination of the electro-optic modulator and self-designed liquid crystal phase plate, only the intensity of signal fluorescence at the focal point is modulated, while stray light and background light is not modulated. Through the principle of modulation and demodulation technology, a strong focal area signal is extracted, thereby improving the signal-to-noise ratio and signal-to-background ratio of the image by 20-30dB, improving the imaging depth. We have added a cylindrical lens that creates a line focus on the sample and enables line scan imaging, so the imaging acquisition speed is significantly increased compared to conventional point scanning confocal microscopes.
Key Advantages
Superior Resolution: At its core is a focal modulation module for high-contrast imaging. It significantly reduces the background signal caused by multiple scattering and effectively picks up the high-resolution signal related to the ballistic excitation light. Consequently, the signal to background ratio and the spatial resolution can be maintained to a deeper penetration depth, which is about two to four times deeper than conventional confocal microscopes.
High Acquisition Speed: Capturing at speeds at least 100x faster than conventional confocal technology, LFMM is the optimal solution for live cell and tissue imaging, providing low phototoxicity and photobleaching, or perfect for fast volume acquisition of fixed samples and even small live animals.
Large Field of View: Our scientific CMOS camera can offer a sensor up to 5.5 Megapixel, yielding the largest available field of view with 60x objectives (0.36 mm) and 40x objectives (0.54 mm). Maximizing view in fluorescence microscopy is of increasing relevance across a wide range of applications, including high content screening of large fields of cells, imaging of the developing embryo, neuron mapping and tissue imaging.
Versatility: The Laser Line Scan Confocal Microscope is adaptable to a broad range of applications, making it an invaluable asset for any research facility.
